We're officially in earthy, middle of spring, Taurus season beginning on April 20th. Remember to use the search tool in the group, type in Taurus and you will find videos and worksheets in the file tab. You may not be a Taurus Sun sign, but you may very well have it somewhere else in your chart. So take a peek around and see if it resonates with you.
Shout out to all the Taurus in the group, happy birthday, bulls! Leave us a comment if you want to share your birthday or fave thing about being a Taurus, or if you have a Taurus kiddo or spouse.
I have a Taurus son that will be turning 17 this May. He sure loves to eat and sleep and definitely does thing on his own schedule, and once his mind is made up on something that's it. He has good taste in music and hopes to become a chef one day after he joins the military when he turns 18. He's a true blue Taurus. Out of my 3 kids, he's absolutely the most laid back, drama free kid. We've had our moments of locking horns when he was growing up, as I have my own set of horns as a Cappy, too. But those square offs were usually not intense and sayed pretty grounded. We're pretty close now, and we love roller skating together. They were never even as close to intense as they are already with my 4 year old, lord have mercy. LOL
Taurus, your sign is associated with the second month of spring, making your sign a fixed sign, but also everyone can clearly see the signs of this season in full bloom when your birthday comes around. Everything looks beautiful, it’s an earthy season that feels like everything has come alive, which leads to the next point, your sign is ruled by Venus and symbolized by the bull. Taureans, like the bull have two speeds of energy; chill, living a slow, comfortable pace, or ready to charge. One of Newton’s laws is an object in motion stays in motion, an object at rest stays at rest. Taurus is immovable or in motion. Think of a bull. When a bull is charging, you won’t get it to stop until it’s ready to stop. Same goes for when a bull is comfortable napping in the meadow, under the shade of a tree, with a full belly, you won’t get it to move.
Taurus natives are usually sensual people. They enjoy experiencing life through the material world and their senses. Food, touch, smells, and anything that engages your senses makes you feel alive. This is an earth sign, you’re earth in bloom personified. Taurus natives are hard workers. They’re solid people that like having routines and security. Taurus is associated with the second house of astrology, which governs over personal security, personal values, personal assets and belongings. You like your things. You like your food. You like your naps. When a Taurus shares food or shares their resources and possessions this is a huge indicator of love from the Taurus.
You work on your life in a methodical way and you take your time. You follow no one’s timeline but your own, and you don’t want anyone hurrying you up or slowing you down for that matter. You do things your way on your time frame. You count on doing things that have been tried and true, too. You aren’t one to jump on the bandwagon for newfangled stuff, it has to prove itself and be reliable and of good quality. Same for your relationships, you count on reliability from others. It will really irk you when something you own or someone you’re close to isn’t reliable.
On the other side of you being able to fend for yourself, and your dependability that you offer to partners and employers, you can have a lazy streak, too. Well, it can come off as lazy to others for sure. Taurus natives enjoy their sleep and perusing life at their leisure. You take time to make a decision, but your decisions will usually be wise in the long run, this is the tortoise vs the hare discussion here, you, Taurus, are the tortoise. You may feel sluggish at times, too weighted and tired to even move, you just want to stay put. It can be this way with getting you to be flexible in your thinking, too. Once you have your mind made up, that’s it, no changing it. You’re determined, stubborn, and you’ll rebel against anything or anyone that pokes and prods at your will trying to change you. It takes smooth persuasion to get you to go along, but anyone that forces you into anything will be met by your bull horns.
Tarueans depend a lot on having emotional support from their family, and if they don’t get the support it can make them come across very “bullish” to their family members. Otherwise, in healthy conditions with people you care about, you can be counted on to be a rock for them, you provide for them, and you want them to learn to provide for themselves, too, but you’re not going to let anyone you care about go without a roof over their head and food in their belly. As a parent, you want your children to have security, even as they’re older adults, you want to make sure that they can count on you, so you invest your resources and work efforts as wisely as you can when others depend on you.
Your life, your mission, is making your world secure. Once you feel safe; so your home, your job, your marriage, once it’s set and you feel secure and valued, you’re a loyal and dependable spouse, parent, and employee. You know what you value and you want to be treated fairly, for you know what you’re worth, you know your value and the value of things and people around you.
Taureans want to avert crisis and drama. They don’t like power struggles. Their direct opposite is Scorpio, and Scorpio tends to always be involved in drama, crisis, and power struggles. Taurus, you’re way over on the other end of the spectrum. Leave me the hell alone and leave me out of it, is the Taurus way. You don’t like things or people that are overly complex. You like simplicity, stability, and practicality. You shrug your shoulders at a lot of things deemed crazy and overcomplicated. You just want to live. You feel respect, devotion, and admiration within yourself regarding the simple pleasures in life; eating and enjoying every morsel of the food you eat, the sounds of a bubbling brook, the feeling of a good neck rub, sleeping on satin sheets, watching your kids play, laying out in the sunshine, having four walls around you in your home. You want a solid foundation and you’re sign IS the foundation energy of the zodiac. You’re salt of the earth and down to earth.
Many people that have an earth sign as their Sun sign adopt more traditional and conservative opinions and ways of life. You may feel it’s important to value tried and true concepts, traditions in society and family, and you may take on more conventional roles and interests. You may dress more conservatively, too, although dressing style usually doesn’t have as much to do with Sun signs as much as it does say the person’s Moon or Rising signs.
Taurus tends to remain calm. It takes a lot to stir the bull, but once the pot is stirred, watch out. You really don’t want to charge anyone with those bull horns, but you will if you really must or feel very triggered. Taurus natives are usually introverted and don’t feel the need to be around lots of people, they like their distance, and thrive in serene environments. Most of the time this introverted nature is more due to not wanting to confront or deal with problems with other people, too, or not wanting to risk and deal with the potential that problems could come up.
Taurus can sometimes come across as selfish. They’re usually quite modest. What happens though is they’re driven to have the best and want to give the best to their family, similar to a Capricorn. A Taurus might want something as well, but not go right out and splurge, they’ll wait until they have the means to make a purchase or take a trip or get the dance lessons for little Jane. Taureans are prudent and patient.
Many Taurus natives have an eye for art, they may enjoy drawing, architecture, or taking photos for example, Venus rules over art, money, beauty, and love.
Hello Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac. Aries rules over the head and is ruled by Mars. It’s a fire sign that symbolizes energy, health, impulsiveness, leadership, passion and aggression. Aries natives operate on a high level of energy. Think of the Big Bang or when God created the Universe. It may be that God said, “Let there be light.” And then the Universe was created, so yes words have immense power, but I also feel deep down that the high voltage, ferocious, wild amount of power and energy those words had to be spoken with had to be explosive! There wasn’t a Better Homes and Gardens recipe on Pinterest board that God followed. It was pure, raw, and piercing energy to create and like all artists know, creating takes a lot of energy and emotion, all kinds of emotion, and so I just cannot surmise that God took a controlled and cautious approach to putting His energy, His creative force into everything. It was a Divine impulse and outpouring of primal energy. This is Aries.
As the first sign of the zodiac this is the archetypal baby. A fresh, new expression of soul and its mission. Aries doesn’t have a defined understanding or any for that matter of the collective past. Aries is more like this place, or the Sun at dawn breaking through, a blank canvas ready to be primed for a masterpiece, the birth canal ready to push through new life into the world. Aries natives are headstrong, impulsive, raw, independent, adventurous, creative, hard workers; they’re curious, susceptible to temperamental outburst, prone to crisis and conflict, and ready to explode with energy. Aries are assertive, fighters for the underdogs, courageous, freedom-loving, natural born leaders. Their heartbeat is a pulse infused with fiery passion struck by the finger of God to go out and be the starter, the beginner, the initiator.
It’s truly a lot of energy to contend with. Their soul’s mission is to declare and affirm their birthright to independence and having a unique identity. They go through countless experiences that will evolve their identity throughout their life. Aries adapt to change and welcome risks, adventure, challenges, and confrontation. They grow their sense of self through experiences, so they’re constantly reforming and refining themselves. It’s like an ongoing process of getting to know who they are through the event sin their life. They’re a brand new soul on a cosmic journey. Think of Pisces, the last sign of the Zodiac, the old soul, they’ve come, they’ve lived, learned, and Pisces represents the end of the cycle. Whereas Aries is just letting out their first cry to tell the world they are here. They always have a new self to develop. Just as babies don’t quite have a sense of self and rely on others to learn about who they are, about behavior, and life.
Aries are often interested in the human mind, but mostly they’re interested because they need to learn more about their own minds. Aries aren’t great at being objective in analyzing themselves or being self-aware. They watch others around them. They watch how people react to them. They’re curious about why people behave the way they do, especially in reaction the things that Aries natives say or do. Many Aries have an interest in psychology because it helps them to develop insight about who they are as a person. It helps them understand their behavior, what makes them tick, and what sets them off. They can come across as offensive, crass, grandiose, manic or hyperactive, and at times wildly inappropriate. It’s because Aries is learning about social cues. It takes us back the baby archetype.
This makes Aries very anxious about abandonment. They rely so much on picking up on cues from people around them to help them figure out who they are and to form self-actualization, that if they are abandoned by someone they care about it can be brutal for them. It crushes them and makes them feel lost. They need to have others around to help them feel and be who they are. I don’t mean t imply that Aries are co-dependent. Far from it. They’re very assertive and independent people. Look at Abraham Maslow and the Hierarchy of Needs. He was an Aries and he pretty much designed the perfect pattern of understanding for Aries natives. He developed a pattern of attaining individualization.
Aries are known for their tempers and being in a state of crisis. They can be quite self-sabotaging, too. Aries is the first of the fire signs and it’s like an uncontrollable forest fire, which is quite different from a controlled burn on a farmer’s field, or a cozy fire in the hearth of a winter cabin. Aries spend a lot of their life in crisis because to reiterate, they’re learning about how to conduct themselves and who they are. They’re forming what is known as self, what doesn’t really start to come into play until the Zodiac hits the next sign, Taurus. Aries is trying to figure out how to tame the fire within and deal with reality. Think of this energy as described earlier, like the Big Bang force. Aries oozes the fiery, primal, creative energy though every ounce of their being.
Aries are also known for being impatient. It’s quite a deep pot hole that leads to blowouts for them. They may start things they can’t or won’t finish. They don’t want to take every step needed to reach a goal. Aries has integrity, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just when they want something or someone they want it now. They can be too hasty in their desires and going after goals. They need friends that they trust, friends they feel like they can take advice from, and also help them to slow down a bit and think things all the way through without jumping the gun.
Aries are fighters not just in an inflammatory sense by being in conflict with others, but they fights for causes and the underdogs in life. They stand up for people, but what they want is for everyone to feel that they can stand up and be assertive. They’re quite courageous people, and they can also be quite forceful in imposing their opinions. They get irritated, but their emotions don’t last long. Aries are good people that don’t want their time wasted. They want everyone to feel passionate about something and have the freedom to pursue who they are. Aries are straightforward, shoot from the hip type people. They can be diplomatic when they want, but often need to remember tact. They’re decisive, and sharp at making a choice and solving problems. They don’t compromise well, but under the right circumstances they will. Just never expect an Aries to bend on anything that makes them feel like they have to give up their independence. They take responsibility seriously, not in the same way as a Capricorn, but Aries are cardinal signs and leaders, too. They’re a great ideas type of person. Brainstorm with an Aries to get new perspectives on things.
Aries natives must be granted freedom. If they have a job or partner that doesn’t allow freedom, look out, because Aries won’t last long with anything or anyone trying to pin them down and control their fire to only a farmer’s field. Aries are enthusiastic, confident, and have a fantastic sense of humor. They’re friendly and have an inner sense of what’s fair. They don’t like seeing anyone or anything being treated unfairly. “That’s not fair,” was probably first stated by an Aries. They don’t back down from hard tasks and can usually find creative approaches and out of the box, new ways of thinking.
Aries are prone to headaches. They’re sign rules over the head. It’s likely because of all the “newness” they’re experiencing. They’re busy building their personality, their “self.” They’re bursting at the seams with things to do, places to go, people to meet, and ideas to talk about. They’re soaking up everything, just like a brand new baby does as the infant grows into a toddler, then a child, and is learning everything about other people and their environment. Taking things head-on is perfectly Aries, perfectly Ram style, and it’s no wonder you’re likely to be prone to headaches.
Another mention to Aries, many athletes are born under the sign of Aries. I mean, I can’t imagine why, it couldn’t possibly be all that energy they have burning through them under the influence of Mars, the God of war and competitiveness.
It's Pisces season. Here's a very detailed interp all about this fishy, Neptunian creature. Remember even if you aren't Pisces, you may have Pisces somewhere in your chart,s o some of this may resonate for some of you, even if it's not your Sun sign. For the Pisces out there, I often feel this world is so blessed to have you in it. As we head into Pisces season, we can all learn to apply Piscean lessons to our life.
“I’m attracted to the idea of drowning. Or rather the idea of jumping off and being enveloped by something, not bad or good, just enveloping. When I was a kid, I had this moment when I got under the water, lying on the pool floor, and I felt I could breathe. I’ve been trying to recreate that feeling ever since. “ Florence Welch
Hello dreamer! Pisces is the 12th and final sign of the zodiac. It contains many characteristics of the signs that came before it, but Pisces will hold those traits below the surface. They can be like the chameleon of the Zodiac. Pisces is the most mysterious, emotional, dreamy, and artistic of the water signs. This sign at its most positive is associated with uplifting beauty, glamour, selfless service, charity, kindness, inspiration, and contains a vast sea of knowledge to pull from. The people born with this sign have pensive, watery- like eyes that once you recognize how they look and how they make you feel, you’ll always remember Piscean eyes.
Pisces natives are compassionate, generous, tolerant, faithful, and gentle; they hate cruelty. They also strongly dislike being criticized, especially by a know it all type of person. Pisces are friendly and want to accept all people. They’ll be surrounded by a variety of friends from different walks of life, and Pisceans like to help others. They have a strong sense of charity within their hearts, so they often donate, or volunteer.
Music speaks to the soul of Pisceans. Their ruling planet Neptune is deeply connected to music. Many are attracted to dance, as Pisces rules the feet. People born under this planet have a desire to express themselves and can possess many talents, yet not really understand quite how they acquired their gifts so naturally. For Pisces, their artistic gifts are closely tied to their spirit so it just flows from them. Many are great poets and writers, too. Pisceans enjoy drama and acting because it gives them the opportunity of being someone else.
Many Pisceans are experimental with their appearance. They may try different fashions, hairstyles, colors, makeup, and play with how they express themselves. Often their appearance is based on their mood. They may say one thing and do another, or think one thing and believe something else entirely different. They can be fooled by their own hand by their depth of their imagination as well.
Pisces deals with many spiritual and fantasy matters. This is the realm of escapism, spiritual consciousness, and hypnosis. Pisces can withdraw without a moment’s notice. Some Pisces struggle with depression, narcolepsy or disassociation tendencies. On the extreme end of escapism they may have mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar mood disorder, psychotic episodes, and nervous breakdowns. Some turn to alcohol and drugs, or at the very extreme end of escapism they turn to suicide. It’s about the divine homesickness, not feeling of this world and wanting to go “home,” back to that divine home in perfect God consciousness and all-encompassing love. So some pull away and destroy the physical self through some means, because being physical is keeping them separate from the spiritual realm they intimately believe in, and know deep down exists.
They’re dreams though can be a great source of inspiration to them. Their minds are often lost in a daydream, but they may walk around feeling the presence of an angel on one shoulder and devil on the other. They’re mystically inspired with no rigid outlook on life and humanity. Pisceans are drawn to living spiritual lives. This is the realm where personas dissolve. Piscean qualities are elusive and difficult to pin down. How can you use words to describe a feeling from a hazy dream, this is Pisces.
The symbol of Pisces is two fish swimming in different directions, but they’re connected by a cord. It suggests themes revolving around Yin and Yang, going with the flow, not making waves, body and spirit, reality and the inner world, and going back and forth between decisions. One fish headed towards the light, idealism and heaven, unifying all and healing others. The other fish is swimming towards the darkest depths, the material world, facing fragments of spirit, confusion and chaos.
Their sign is about duality, multiplicity, heaven and hell, rebirth, spiritual and physical. They’re here to surrender to the flow and they know life is always changing and we must let go. There’s a lot of ways to interpret the two fish, just as there are many ways to try to figure out Pisces. However, holding onto Pisces to figure them out is like trying to hold water in your hand and expecting it to not slip out of the crevices between your fingers and leak over the sides of your palms.
Neptune’s symbol is a trident with a crescent pointing upward, resting on a cross. Neptune deals with hidden matters, things that are in the depths below the surface, illusions, and mystery, it also brings out glamour; think old Hollywood style. Neptune’s symbol is associated with a soul that wants to be set free from the physical density of the earthly life on a 3D planet.
Pisces is also co-ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is all about expansion, optimism, beliefs, Universal law, and having a broad outlook. When we take Jupiter and Neptune, there’s this very expansive, dreamy, ethereal, otherworldly vibe that makes up the Pisces personality. NASA tells us that Neptune doesn’t really have any boundaries, no solid surface. It’s covered in icy cold clouds and a hot ocean below. It never boils away because it has an intense pressure in the atmosphere. It’s one of the windiest and stormiest planets, and seasons last for forty years. For natives, this translates into their emotions and everything that Neptune is attributed to, Jupiter will expand on.
Pisceans struggle to balance life between facts, reality, and fantasies. They usually struggle often with their boundaries. They can easily lose sense of their identity, if they even feel like they have one. They often over identify with others and many become martyrs. They can take on traits from others. Pisces is very self- sacrificing. Their egos are vulnerable and unguarded.
They get caught up in an idealistic, rose-colored view of life. They fall in love with love. Pisceans are so dreamy; they're the most romantic of all the Zodiac signs. It’s vital for their partners to understand just how sensitive, romantic, and dreamy they are. They idealize and idolize. Pisces are loyal friends and socializing can be a source of inspiration for them. However, Pisceans need to be careful and discerning when choosing friends and partners. They can easily get taken advantage of or attract people with addictive or abusive behavioral issues.
It’s easy for a person with this sign to get their feelings hurt and to become quickly depressed over things that have been said to them. Pisces needs a partner that’ll protect the vulnerable sensitivities of this special fishy creature. It’s equally as important to be aware of what you fall for sweet Pisces; otherwise it could be to your own detriment. It’s not to mean blame the victim, but Pisces natives can be victimized or at the least play the role of victim. Stay sweet and practice enforcing boundaries, which I know isn’t easy for you, dear Pisces.
Many Pisceans will fall for sob stories. You feel badly if someone else feels badly. You might accept suggestions at the time that fit your mood and it can cause you to lose focus. Pisces is the most compassionate sign. People will try to play on your heartstrings. You can come across as vulnerable, weak willed, helpless, or aimless in life, even If you aren’t. Seedy characters have a way of sniffing out good natured people and sussing out their tender spots. You’re worthy of a loving partner and loving friends, Pisces.
Pisceans want to serve others. They want to take in all the lost puppies. Pisceans feel genuine empathy, concern, and pity for the suffering and for the people that have been discarded by society; the homeless, orphans, the ill and especially mentally ill, elderly, dying, addicted, imprisoned, the people in need. They’re natural born humanitarians. They want to devote themselves to a worthy cause. They’re souls are soothed by spiritual service and healing souls that have been hurt and polluted by society. They intimately understand the human condition.
People born under this sign often feel lonely, invalidated, misunderstood and are highly sensitive people. Often time they have challenges with sensory issues, too. They feel everything. Ev.Er.Y Thing. They’re senses are on overdrive, seeing all, hearing, sensing, and feeling all. It can be unnerving to feel so much, so they get jittery, nervous, reactive, disconcerted. Many Pisceans are unsettled, always on the brink of anxiety or tears.
Pisceans don’t hold back their tears. You can be a bit secretive as well, even though you show a lot of emotions. Pisceans may feel melancholic at times, too, which can lead them to procrastinate. They also come across as alarmists, because any concerning news can feel like a bad omen. Pisceans are usually very apprehensive, often scanning their environment for threats. They absorb all the vibrations around them and of the collective psyche. They are processing all the positive and negative energy in the world like a dry sponge soaking up water. Their heart and mind is the vessel for the collective subconscious.
It’s a lot to deal with, and it isn’t light work their souls are doing to heal the world. Their soul, their love, and their mind transcend time, space, and ego. They’re wisdom and universal love personified. They see the unity of all things and have absorbed everything from all of the other signs. They’re an old soul. They salvage what’s been lost both in the present and past. There’s generational healing taking place through the Pisces psyche; lost and unfulfilled dreams and traumas. The ghosts of the past want to work through this realm.
When Pisceans don’t get time to meditate or focus on the sacred side of life, they can withdraw into various forms of escapism. This is one sign that needs time to put on some headphones with soothing music playing and tune out, read a good book, or just find a beach to lay out on. They need time and space for themselves as they’re constantly giving of their energy and self. They need time to develop their highly intuitive, almost psychic abilities, as well as to just recharge their battery. Don’t let your tank run empty, Pisces. You won’t be any good to others if you’re running on empty. Learn to give yourself the TLC you deserve.
